Athens Florals is the public home of Elias Flower Designer by Giannis, a family floral atelier working from Michalakopoulou 208 in Athens. Giannis personally leads the work from flower selection and purchasing through concept, production, installation and final styling. He also serves as Creative Director of floral design for Hotel Grande Bretagne and King George in Athens.

Family history

1971

A working memory, not a catalogue to copy.

The family atelier was founded by Elias Konstantakopoulos in 1971. Today its archive contains more than 500 wedding designs. That archive informs proportion, seasonality and construction—but each new commission begins with the place, the people and the occasion in front of us.

Based in Athens, the atelier works across Greece for weddings, baptisms, private dinners, corporate events, name days and memorials.

The first atelier

Elias Konstantakopoulos establishes the business at Michalakopoulou 180 in Athens.

1981

The family continues

Elias and Elisavet continue the atelier at Michalakopoulou 208, the address from which the family still works today.

Today

Creative direction

Giannis leads selection, purchasing, design, production and installation, and serves as Creative Director of floral design for Hotel Grande Bretagne and King George.
